Eating healthy is important - but sometimes it can feel like a burden to find a way to include all the vegetables your body needs. But it doesn't have to!
We've gathered some tips for adding veggies to any meal! You won't even notice you're eating healthy, but your body certainly will.
1. Make mashed potatoes with cauliflower
You don't have to sacrifice any flavor to indulge in this low-cal alternative to mashed potatoes. Blend cauliflower until you reach desired consistency, and add all the toppings you'd like! Easy and delicious!
2. Add greens to your breakfast smoothies
Throw some spinach or kale into your blender in the morning. It won't alter the taste much, but it will give your body some of the vitamins it needs!
3. Try some veggie noodles
Experiment with a spiralizer or grater tool to make zucchini, squash or asparagus noodles! Add your favorite sauce and, voilà, an easy and healthy meal!
4. Make kale chips
These are easy, delicious and nutritious! Lightly coat the kale in oil and sprinkle with salt before baking to turn them into crispy chips.
5. Get saucy
Make your own tomato sauce and pile in the veggies! Throw in some puréed carrots or squash, mushrooms, spinach or onions. Yum!
